About me

I used two years period to complete my four-year-bachelor study in the University of Sydney, accelerated my two-year-master study in University of Melbourne to one year and studied all my second master courses in one semester in University College London.

During my study period, I interned in TV station, video production company and events company. I volunteered in many Film Festivals and large amounts of city-scaled events. I attended many societies and clubs, acting the role of the vice-president of TSA and the marketing coordinator of AIESEC Sydney. I joined some production team and direct, edit some pre-wedding videos, promotional videos, and short films.

I exchanged in UCLA to study filmmaking (fiction) and music composition. I participated in an international film project named Chinaman. I studied abroad in UIBE, directing four student graduation projects. After moving to Melbourne, I continued directing short promotional videos, short films and short advertisements for restaurants, properties, and events. I find myself in the creative production and realize my interests and abilities in film and TV industry.

I am familiar with DSLR cameras and am proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut. I can shoot and edit digital videos on a regular basis individually and would like to collaborate with others to identify, develop and script daily and weekly digital videos. Moreover, I am proficient with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Lightroom as well. I can do basic graphic design for website, posters, and banners. In addition, I am also skilled in music composition and sound mix software such as Cubase, Protools and Logic Pro and so on.

Moreover, I have participated in Berlinale 67th, BFI London Film Festival, London East Asia Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, Sydney Writer's Festival, Sydney Underground Film Festival and Russian Resurrection Film Festival. I would like to share all formal and informal contacts, as well as build the network and strengthen relationships.

I worked as a crewman in Macdonalds, a sales specialist in Myer ( Australia's largest department store group), an administrative reception on in APEC (an educational agency) and teacher in Sydney language institute and Melbourne local high school. These part time experiences shape my identity and establish my personality to be a more optimistic person.

I have a natural ability to engage with the general public. I believe my friendly, approachable, outgoing characters will build excellent relationships with our teams. I would be a good team player with a positive attitude and an enthusiastic work ethic. I would like to work co-operatively with others to be part of a team, as opposed to working separately or competitively.

I am able to be impartial and acknowledge differing points of view. I would like to prepare to share ideas with others in a dynamic team. I am able to create and hold regular product presentations and screenings to showcase productions to potential promotional and media partners. I could active Ideas and ensure all legal obligations and internal approvals are gained before commitment. I would like to work in a systematic and organized way.

I would like to face the challenges, working under pressure. I always simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts explore and evaluate them systematically. I would like to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals or groups.

I am able to multi-task and be organized. I used two years to complete my four-year-bachelor study can evidence that I would like to think ahead in order to establish an efficient and appropriate course of action for self and others. I am able to work to deadlines, manage my time efficiently and adhere to a budget. I can make decisions quickly. I can manage a busy workload ambiguity and complexity.

My ability to speak an alternative language, Chinese, would be beneficial in accommodating to foreign customers as well. Further, I am also able to communicate in Japanese and understand Korean and French.

I am innovative, creative and willing to learn and can learn quickly. I am a positive organized person, I would like to take explicit actions to reinforce change, as well as to take constructive learning and feedback on projects and on managing career development and training.
