About me

Following the closure of the company I worked for and my subsequent redundancy I am now seeking new employment in the design industry. I was employed as the sole Graphic Designer and Layout Artist to design all the brochures, newsletters, information packs and standard forms that were used onsite. These were given to the residents living on the different Estates we were refurbishing. They would explain the works to be done, who the site team were and anything else that was specific to the job that the residents needed to know. To keep a unified, corporate and professional aspect to each project we did, all the resident documentation supplied had to be completed through myself. For the production of the brochures issued at the beginning of each job, there was a tight turn around from the brief to the completed article. The Client was involved closely to gain approval so an approved copy could to be sent to our external printers to be printed. For all of this to work, teamwork was paramount.

I am interested in continuing to design documentation needed for different occasions. I used Quark Express primarily to do the layout and design, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat Professional. However, I can use any other Desktop Publishing Design package offered. I listen well, can carry out any instruction accurately and I am also a quick learner.
