About me
Last year I graduated Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. Throughout my studies I have had the opportunity to develop my competencies on a pathway of Illustration and Moving Image. During my 4 years of studying I had the chance to shape my talent. I came into contact with extraordinary people who work in different fields of art and also faced the criticism and the opinion of technicians as well as my peers.
In my opinion graphic is a field of many visual creations and possibilities such as animation, illustration, printing and motion picture, which are indeed the essence of my personal interests. I think that although the paper long forgotten the art of animation, this field has been rediscovered by young artists as a medium of practice and personal development. I think that Art leaves a lot of space for imagination.
Polish Designers such as Jan Sawka, Wiktor Górka, Henryk Berlewi, Jan Młodożeniec, Zdzisław Beksiński who in my opinion changed the direction of Polish utilitarian graphics are among those who inspire me the most. I have a strong connection with Polish culture and I enjoy motivating and stimulating others to sight the fact that differences in sense of style are very related. If we are passionate about something we remind other people about what they can be and do. By combining our feelings, cultural background and mentality we create a truth, which is taken from our own experience. I think that we have to acknowledge this truth and phrase values, which we are convinced to. I admire people in every area of the profession, who with their time, engagement and determination change the way of perceiving and understanding Art. I believe it is crucial to focus on creative strategy, namely, to combine passion with the profession in order to excel in today's demanding and ever changing environment. I find great inspiration in motion graphic artists such as Suzie Templeton, Andrew Stanton, Hayao Miyazaki and also Saul Bass who is a major pioneer in development of film title sequences. I admire their conceptual art and productions but most of all their individuality.
I am a highly motivated individual, who provides strong attention to detail and design quality. I have a head full of ideas, ability to learn quickly and collaborate on large-scale projects. I am a responsible, hardworking and creative person. I approach given tasks conscientiously and with imagination. When creating a story for a narrative animation or illustration project I consider that this story can never be static because our life isn't and I am mindful that these stories are governed by laws and not by determined rules. I am glad to learn new things, welcome challenges and I am not afraid to say what I don't know because that is the only way I can learn and to be held responsible. I have a very large capacity for empathy and find a great pleasure working with people. With the accessibility of computer technology and its potential I am glad to draw, paint, quick sketch my ideas and hand-cut eclectic collages to perform retouching in digital technology. I am making my first steps in digital drawing and painting using Intuos Pro Tablet for graphic designers.
