About me
To whom it may concern,
I live in London and am currently working as a freelance Photographer and Photo Editor, shooting and editing portraiture, fashion, events and music. Over the last year or so I have slowly felt the urge to move away from the freelance lifestyle and as a result am now looking for something more permanent within the photographic sector. This role I believe would be ideal and I can say confidently that I have all the necessary skills and experience to excel in the position and fill Travelzoo's website with stunning and beautiful imagery.
I have worked in the photographic industry for over four years now and in this time as well as gaining invaluable experience in photography and photo editing, I have also gained many skills in web production. When working for CAFOD I would often update their website with new images and videos I had edited and also designed and built my own photography website which I am constantly updating and maintaining.
I would consider myself a very technically savvy individual partly due to my involvement with computers from a very young age. After years of working with both Mac and PC I can quite happily flip from one machine to the other with no trouble.
I have worked to a very high level with many different digital photographic software applications. For example when working for CAFOD, after sourcing images they would need to be prepared for uploading onto the website which I would do by using Lightroom or Bridge and Camera Raw to colour correct and resize. When working at Mind Studios I would be involved in advanced retouching on a daily basis working on Photoshop removing unwanted items from a location shot or retouching skin in a studio portrait.
I am a massive fan of travel/street photography and always take my camera away with me wherever I go. Before working at Mind Studios I was never a huge fan of fashion/lifestyle and food photography but after assisting on countless shoots and editing and retouching many lifestyle, food images I really started to appreciate both these areas of photography.
I am the kind of person who works well under deadline pressure and think this is why I enjoyed my time at Rex Features pictures agency so much. It was a very busy working office environment with lots of people you had to collaborate with and being such a sociable person I really enjoyed this element. Working at Rex Features also taught me a huge amount about photo licensing and copyright standards which has come in very handy in many of my freelancing roles since.
I wasn't sure how many images to included in the Portfolio section below so have included a link to my website here for the option of viewing more:

I am sociable, easy to get on with, very hard working, highly organized and have great attention to detail. Very much hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,
