About me

My passion for pictures really took off in '97 when I started my photography degree and since graduating in 2000, have worked part-time as a freelance photographer and image manipulator. For the past four months though, I have been working towards carving a career in image editing and have been doing placements at well know magazines and picture libraries. At these placements I have been working on both Mac's and PC's using packages such as Photoshop, Fotostation and Microsoft Office and involved in various duties such as image editing, captioning, re-touching, key-wording, picture researching, scanning and cataloguing. A great deal of my previous roles have involved administrative duties and dealing with big clients via email, on the phone, as well as face to face, so this is again something I have lots of experience in.

I have a great eye for detail and an excellent sense of knowing what it is about a particular image or film that visually communicates successfully or not. I am very hard working, highly organised, extremely enthusiastic, and great working on my own or as part of a team.
