About me

Hi, I'm Adrian A. COSTEA, and I give life to beautiful ideas starting with photography and ending with branding. My expertise refers both to print and web-design. I work in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, Adobe Acrobat, Lightroom, Muse, Corel Draw, Pages and Keynote. With a very few exceptions (some photos in web designs), all you can see on my website *'m very meticulous when it comes to graphic design and I always need to stay in touch with design trends, technology, software news and economical / political environment of my business place. Without any fuss, learning and adapting - always adapting - is part of who I am.

Before I moved in Sweden I had my own company in Romania (a very cohesive team of 9 members) started in 2006. Was a successful, small creative company. Now, as a freelancer, I still have almost the same clients since then and I still keep in touch with my old team. One of them became my very best friend.

In those years I trained myself to understand clients needs and make them happy. It's a very big disappointment for me to hear a client saying "it's ok" instead of "wow" or "brilliant". No matter the price written in the contract, this is my goal: their beautiful "wow". This is my engine. No, really, this is my motivation. I enjoy showing off, professionally speaking.

Because of the instability of political / economical environment, I choose to leave Romania for good. Of course, I still can relocate anytime if needed, only in countries with high education level (because of my little son).

In my very personal opinion, design it's not just about a logo, brochure, a short story or clothes. Every person can learn some software, have a base theory on how "things are born" and make a decent living out of that. Design it's about harmony, ergonomics and emotions. It's truly about delivering the best expression of all that. Anyone who has this insight, can create a hat or a car as well.
