Hi there,
Would like to emphasise that I always try to recycle my knowledge and improve myself professionally. For this, I have been working in Advertising/Publishing for the last twenty years, specifically within the area of graphic design. During this time I have gained extensive experience within all areas of the Desk Top Publishing process, from initial briefing to final print. I have advanced knowledge of specific software such as Adobe's Creative Suite Package, Quark Xpress, Corel Draw, Art Pro, plus fully acquainted with all Mac and PC hardware and their operating systems.
With experience and expertise at working within all stages of the production process, I have been responsible for the implementation, organization, and management of the design and pre-media departments in several companies that I have worked for in previous roles.
I have been working in the UK for the past three years at HH Associates Print Management based in Sutton, Surrey. Joining HH on-site at their head office studio services centre, I worked across a number of blue-chip clients, including, Carphone Warehouse, AIG, and Barclays, dealing directly with clients and HH internal account managers. After 2 years I was promoted to the position of on-site Designer and Art-worker for InterContinental Hotels Group based on-site in Denham.
IHG is the largest hotel operator by number of rooms and covers the following hotel brands - InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge, Indigo, Express. My key responsibilities were to set up internal studio systems and processes and filing archived artwork. Training of both internal and external clients to enable them to access and approve pdfs online. Creating interactive e-mail marketing campaigns to generate client interest, leading new creative work.
I feel that I can deliver content, with the ability to address key issues within my field. I have a sound understanding of all media production technologies and can deliver on several time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
