I love software. Algorithms. Data structures. Languages. The pure, computer science beauty, and the dashed-off hacks. It's the ultimate medium for total creativity, conjuring up new realities from nothing more than electrons shooting through the void.

But no matter how elegant or advanced, technology means little unless it touches a human being in some way. Puts smiles on people's faces. Makes the world a better place. I do this stuff because I want to make a difference.

I do not simplify things, I make them simple. I believe in providing customers VALUE. Many companies believe in Steve Job's famous quote "You should start with customer experience and then provide that experience through technology". I practice this quote in my everyday life. I believe that technology is not about a programming language, a code, or a spiral back end systems. I believe technology is an ENABLER.

In the current computing universe, if you want to touch people, you build mobile applications. Because electronic communication is no longer a discrete endeavour. It's integrated into all of our activities. Carried around in little glowing glass capsules, spanning applications and locations, in an ever-growing expectation of ubiquity. To be in that world, you need embedded interaction, running in the cloud, over intermittent mobile networks.

In my work career at Vodafone UK and other companies, I have strived to bring the best to the customers, sometimes through a simple navigation (m.vodafone), increase conversion by 21%, sometimes through an effective anchored accordion (m.vodafone/shop), increased conversion by 11% and sometimes through intuitive help and support (My Vodafone App), reduced call centre calls by 8%.

I deliver this message and champion the user experience across the company. I am always hungry for new knowledge (learning to code in Android) and learn from my mistakes fast. I believe in today's technology driven markets/industries we all have to be flexible and adaptable.

I like working on big projects and ideas that have the potential to enrich the lives of the people involved and change the game in any way possible.
