Testimonial for Adelina Mocanu

It was my suggestion to Adelina that she include a testimonial from me with her job application. For the last 18 months she has been an invaluable support as an intern in various aspects of my work and now that shes ready to embark on her own professional career I wanted the opportunity to help her in return.

Adelina has been more or less solely responsible for managing my studio blog, uploading, but more importantly, editing images. The blog is a very important part of my marketing strategy (with over 1000 hits per month from around the world) so its crucial that the content and presentation is absolutely right. Adelina has a very good eye for composition, design and narrative (along with very good computer and software skills) and, it turns out, is much better than me at editing and creating the blog posts.

Her photography and styling skills have also flourished during the last year and Ive commissioned her to do guest posts on my blog with her own photos. Shes also done some really interesting and imaginative photo shoots of my sculpture which Ive used on my website and in press releases.

Aside from these creative skills she is the perfect assistant in lots of other ways: friendly and sociable, extremely willing, a very quick and eager learner and totally reliable. Her contribution has been so positive and helpful and Ill miss her input very much!
