About me
I have just completed a BA in Graphic Communication, which I have been studying the last three years. Prior to this I studied Graphic Design and Bletchley College where I achieved a triple distinction grade.
Through out my time studying I have built up a strong familiarity with Macs, I am capable in using Adobe software such as Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. I have also developed my skills as an illustrator using mediums such as fine liner, magic marker and paint. I have also used silk screen printing and am adapt in both digital and 35mm photography.
As a designer my style is a blend of illustrative and geometric in appearance, I enjoy creating pieces of work by hand and using my illustrative skills prior to taking my designs to the Mac. I enjoy finding sources such as old images and texts to incorporate and manipulate in my own work. I take inspiration from a variety of sources, as music is a strong interest of mine I like to look at the design industry surrounding it as I feel it offers a wealth of styles and ideas.
I have worked on a variety of briefs during my studies and feel I can lend my style to any outcome, whether it be formal or off the wall. Examples of these are brochures, posters, CD covers, stationary and illustrative artwork.
I have also worked on live briefs set up by YCN and D&AD.
