About me

Having worked in the media industry for over 15 years, my roles have included Studio Manager for the Evening Standard's ES Magazine and most recently Art Director for a small creative agency in Norwich. Previous employers include IPC Magazines, Associated Newspapers and Xactive Ltd, with clients such as Adnams, Norwich Union, Randall & Quilter and Liberty International.

I have successfully built and managed small teams of designers and production staff. My responsibilities have included time management and work flow, setting and monitoring budgets, quality control, recruitment, training and IT support.

I am confident communicating with clients at all levels, being at ease either face to face or via email and telephone. Having undertaken a marketing course and by utilising my production experience, I am more than capable of establishing client's requirements and producing effective solutions using the resources available to me. I understand the importance of exceeding expectations, within budget and meeting deadlines.

I have a high level of competency with all current Mac DTP software, including QuarkXpress, InDesign and Photoshop, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. For website development I have an understanding of HTML and have used Dreamweaver and Flash.

Although based in Norwich at present, I am returning to London to seek a fresh challenge.
