About me

Since graduating from Lancaster University in July, with a 2:1 degree in English Language and the Media (with Creative Writing), I have been working as a trainee copywriter at Barkers, the biggest recruitment communications agency in the UK. Unfortunately, the Creative sector of the company is now being restructured, streamlining four regional departments into just one. My redefined role calls for someone with more experience than I can currently offer, so I am now looking to develop and progress my advertising copywriting career elsewhere.

Alongside the experience of writing print adverts, websites, radio scripts, creative concepts, online adverts, leaflets, SEO, banners and buttons that I gathered at Barkers, I have written for a Virgin Radio show, a student newspaper and was once invited to join the script department of a Sky One TV show. I have proven myself capable of providing creative and compelling copy to tight deadlines, and am more than happy to supply examples of my previous work/perform a test if need be.
