About me
Adam Martin is a London based, freelance illustrator and graphic designer. He graduated from the University College for the Creative Arts Maidstone in 2007 with a B.A honors degree in illustration.
Since then he has pursued his career by taking on a variety of commissions from a broad range of clients. Including T-shirt designs for House of Fraser and the logos for both Pure Beatz and Death To The West record labels. Most recently he provided the artwork for the front cover of Fly Emirates airlines in flight magazine, Open Skeis.
Working with a combination of traditional and digital media, he builds up multi layered images made from original textures and drawings which are skilfully blended and then coloured digitally. Throughout this multifaceted practice runs a sardonic sense of humour that is as much disturbing as it is funny.
