About me
My name is Adam Horton and I currently work for Darwin HR, which is a recruitment agency in Brentwood, who specialise in construction. I have been at the job for just over a month now and do enjoy it. However, I will feel much better if I was working in Chelmsford as its closer to home. I love the recruitment industry and have learnt alot in the month I have been there, placing 5 labourers out to a site in my first week, which earned the company around £500. I wish to get into a different type of recruitment or get into the advertising/marketing sector as I always have good ideas to promote and sell an item. I believe I have the right skills to do this and I feel I would enjoy the job itself I know there are better recruitment options, for instance I.T or Healthcare which I would also like to get into. I also believe in myself that I would succeed in a role in marketing or advertising as this is one of my strong points. I have the drive, dedication and desire to succeed, have no problems working in a team and is a great person to work with. I am so hungry to earn money and succeed further in the recruitment/sales industry as I am a very confident communicator who has no qualms holding any form of conversation. Previous to this I have been working in gym chains as a Membership Consultant at Fitness First and LA Fitness, this was a good start for me, but even with my targets that I always over achieved I was not earning the type of money I want. Whilst at LA Fitness I was the 4th top salesman in the whole country out of 217 advisor's, I was always the top seller in my region which consisted of 47 people and took the Billericay club from 86th (out of 88) to 6th for revenue in the time I was there. This was great at the time, however I wanted a new, more rewarding challenge with better salary and commission. In all of the above I always make 50-60 calls a day, generated new leads/business, always thought outside the box to get these leads, and was always up to date with figures and administration side of it, always learning new things on the way to develop myself further.
Regards,
Adam Horton
