To Whom It May Concern

Please allow me to introduce myself: my name is Acacia Stichter and I am a magazine art director who is looking for a new adventures.

Over the last eight years I have been art director of Cosmopolitan and Cleo magazines. I also spent eight months freelancing and art directing on various titles in the UK.

During my time working in the women's lifestyle market my duties included:

- involvement in magazine production from planning stages to print

- sourcing images / photo editing

- organising and styling feature and still-life shoots

- managing 3-5 members of staff

- organising and directing freelancers

- art directing special editions and inserts

- designing covers and press checking at printing stage

- redesigning magazine periodically

- involvement in and assistance with creating the design of the websites

- Assisting and approving all aspects of branding for the magazine

Although I haven't had any agency experience I do posses the qualities I think can be adapted for and advertising role. I have a flair for typography and exceptional photoshop skills. I work well with others having managed at least 4 staff at any one time. I thrive on challenging myself and look forward to hearing from you
