RE: Junior Designer
Dear Sir/Madam,
It is with great enthusiasm that I apply for a Junior Designer role. I would be thrilled to be considered for this post and believe that I am a suitable candidate. I believe my creative qualities and experience would enable me to successfully carry out this role. I have aspirations not only to maintain the good practice and outstanding creativity at this mass media company, but continue to support the team whilst meeting set deadlines.
Having recently graduated in 2014 from the University for the Creative Arts with a degree in film production, specialising in Graphic design and storyboards, I believe I have the requisite skills to fulfil the role as the Junior Designer at Sky Sports News. I have been involved in numerous freelancing works to promote private functions, business, and short independent films as well as creating many high quality advertisements, posters, leaflets, etc for these events. As a practising graphic artist and a filmmaker I feel I will be able to develop these skills within the creative industry.
I thrive working under pressure where production deadlines are essential, as well as maintaining a professional status while managing multiple jobs. I am interested for this position as I have the strength to communicate and adjust to all levels of negotiation to other team members, and as a confident individual my area of interest and skill will improve with collaboration of team working. The Junior Designer position is appealing to me as it will provide me with the opportunity to express my creative art and designs as well as working alongside professionals to fulfil the job criteria.
I look forward to broadening my knowledge and understanding of the creative design industry. Having worked on several projects I have learnt to develop and restrain a high value reputation when working with clients and meeting briefs. I am a confident user of software's such as; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Pro. My ability to use these programmes with exceptional ease and fluidity, allows me to demonstrate exciting and innovative outcomes to fulfil the clients desired needs.
