About me
I'm an agency-side copywriter, project manager and writer of 10 years. I'm looking for a fixed-term contract or freelance position, either in-house at an ethical organisation or agency-side, that will challenge every area of my expertise in copy and content writing.
All of my content is written to work effectively cross-platform for web, print, point of sale, social video and animation. I started my career in journalism and as a result, my commercial copywriting is always underpinned by the pinpoint accuracy and quality of newsstand journalism.
I've been commissioned to re-write many of client's tone of voice and editorial guidelines and led proofing workshops to train in-house members of organisations but am equally as confident in producing content that sticks to a predetermined tone of voice.
I've restructured the workflow of my current client's content production, including being involved in the implementation of new software workflow systems such as Asana and Teams as well as Basecamp. I've been using various CMS for 10 years, including systems that interface directly into the entire Adobe Suite - a software suite of which I have many years experience.
My preference is to work with a brand with a strong creative ethos like my own, but I am also able to work effectively from home or remotely if required. I currently act as a contact point for colleagues and clients in all areas of the business, from finance, sales and creative to product management and beyond, as well as interacting with colleagues at CEO status down to junior and internship level.
I have sound experience of coming up with new and creative ways to write and promote commercial case studies and also to relay company information to the public and local community via print and digital media. I also have produced content for various client events throughout my career.
