I'm interested in joining your team as Video Producer/Director. The background and skills relevant for making creative videos mirror mine.

My experience comes from TV Broadcast in business programming, making promotional videos and filming for corporate events and feature shows.

ABOUT MYSELF:

I work with India's leading Business news broadcaster "NDTV Profit", where I produce both live and recorded "business feature" shows, broadcast events, multi-cam debates and special channel promos. Currently I Produce/Direct and Edit broadcast projects, multi-skilling at all times. My responsibilities begin with pitching and executing projects, meeting clients and exchanging briefs. This also extends to filming and televising corporate conferences and panel discussions from remote locations.

Being Mumbai/London based I can start 3 weeks from notice and relocate to Birmingham. (Have attached my past work permit (now transferable to Tier 2) along with my resume and photo in this email therefore will not require any sponsorship, financial support or obligation).

10 years of TV experience includes:

- Editing, Directing/Live Visioning and Producing.

- Involved in many start up projects at my current posting which includes pitching concepts for shows, brand integrated shows, budgeting and corporate events for television broadcast.

- Ensuring corporate brand visibility of NDTV programme sponsors. This also includes writing short promotional pieces.

- Brand placement and innovating ways to showcase content clearly and aesthetically for broadcast. This I believe will come handy and play a crucial role in value add

My unique skill set usually requires me to handle special shows across NDTV: For example, the UNION BUDGET, World Economic Forum, NDTV Toyota Greenathon, Aircel Save The Tiger, Marks For Sports, Support My School with Sachin Tendulkar and, last quarter, I directed an 8 Camera entertainment show "ITS MY LIFE" sponsored by Vodafone and anchored by Raveena Tandon. (It was executed on a full HD platform and aired on STAR PLUS HD (SKY GROUP) as well as the NDTV network).

BACKGROUND:

Previously, have worked with UK Trade and Investment on a business game show event based on M&As. Also, last year in November I finished working with the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM event for the INDIA ECONOMIC SUMMIT (where NDTV Profit was the host broadcaster), directed the live telecast of the panel sessions/discussions for English networks like BBC (WORLD DEBATE With NIK GOWING) & BLOOMBERG and for the WEF live web stream. I began working in TV with CNBC India as a video editor, editing headline packages, business feature programs and panel discussions.

KEY TV PRODUCTION STRENGTHS:

- Multi skilled attributes - Vision and Direct live with JIB in Studio- Debates & Performances, Edit on both AVID/Final Cut Pro

- Produce live television shows from remote locations featuring an audience via OB vans (satellite feed) and a PCR van.

- Handle a crew of 40 on a studio floor ranging from Camerapersons, Light Technicians, Prop/Set Labourers, Electricians, PCR Crew, etc.

- Knowledge of tapeless formats like Panasonic P2 and H/ D workflow (on FCP 6.0/AVID ISIS, Lanshare). Can handle a Sony PD 170 camera and light interview setups at ease.

- Produce special business program promos. (scripting/directing/post-producing). Budget on MS Excel and make PPT presentations to Clients. Direct Voice Overs.

- Familiarity with VizRT, 3D Studio Max, and Adobe After Effects, etc have helped me brief designers to execute Chroma based promos as well as packaging for short/long formats. Bumpers/Aston Bands/Background loops/Stings, etc.

- Ideate program ideas for the marketing team to come up with sponsored content integrated for Advertiser Funded Properties.

PAST EXPERIENCE:

I have also shot, directed and edited music videos which played on international music channels like MTV and Channel V. (*

My short fictional film titled 'Reverse Gear' was screened on national television and also viewed across film festivals in Europe and America.
