About me

Due to the economic climate, I am being made redundant at the end of December. I am a creative, dedicated, hard worker and I am excited about working with a design company in the area. For the past couple of years I have worked as a freelance graphic designer in my spare time. I've created brochures, promotional posters, t-shirts, websites, and logos. I desire to gain new design experiences that adds to my repertoire.

I am skilled in the use of PCs and Macs on a level that I can do routine maintenance on them. I am experienced in Adobe's Creative Suite 3, but can quickly learn newer software. I'm also proficient in Microsoft Office, and Apple's iWork.

I am also a skilled photographer and enjoy creating art in a flash. It is fun to change the mood of a picture with Photoshop. I like to create logos and vector art in Illustrator, starting with sketching out the ideas. I am meticulous with margins and spacing in Indesign.

I enjoy learning new things. I admire a job well done. I encourage those around me and I am not afraid to give helpful critique to those who ask, as well as being open to receive critique that improves my own work.
