In my current role as Digital Marketing Executive for Wicksteed Park, I have worked together with the Marketing Manager to help deliver Wicksteed Park to a new audience and help rebuild the park back to the former glory it had.
I work in a team of two, and help support the marketing plan and structure we have planned throughout the business. My job includes managing our budget, and ensuring we are maximising advertising opportunities for the park as well as our budget is not exceeded. I manage our team within the park that report to me on Marketing customer relations, as well as managing the Digital, Advertising and PR agency we work with at Wicksteed Park. My day-to-day role includes managing the website content, social media, digital content and press content. We have seen an increase in footfall to the park, and have worked with Sky AdSmart to help boost the profile of the Park.
Working closely with a charity theme park, this has helped my knowledge of how we reach different audiences, and the different advertising techniques that are successful with all ranges.
