About me
Zhengyang (Leon) is a London-based computational artist and VJ whose work dissolves between mechanistic and mystical boundaries. A 2024 MFA graduate of Goldsmiths' Computational Arts, he crafts interactive installations and audiovisual performances that interrogate animism in the digital age.
Using tools like Unity and TouchDesigner, Leon constructs ritualistic interfaces where human gestures awaken algorithmic "spirits," framing technology as a collaborator rather than a tool. His practice—rooted in five years of VJ and award-winning interactive projects—explores glitches as omens, code as liturgy, and the latent mythologies within Silicon.
