About me

I am currently attending College, studying a Creative Media Production course.

My course is due to finish in June 2013 and I am interested in securing a position as a copywriter.

I currently have no formal experience with copywriting, however, I feel that I have a natural way with words and that my College course has helped greatly improve my creative flair. I have taken modules during my course based around writing styles such as script writing and web writing and I have a high understanding of social media.

Skills

I consider myself to be very polite, responsible and trustworthy. I am a fast learner, willing to undertake any training necessary and a hard worker, always focused on the task in hand, whether working individually or as part of a team., I am currently studying a Media Production course, which has helped me to enhance such skills as a good level of literacy, IT skills including both Mac and PC programs, analytic skills and critical thinking skills.

Sector Experience

In June 2009 I completed a week-long work experience placement at Superdrug in Brierley Hill, during which I learned how to work effectively in order to meet deadlines and how to appropriately communicate with colleagues and customers. As confirmed by the manager of the store, from this I gained a strong sense of responsibility, independence, organisation, reliability and commitment., I am currently undertaking a work experience placement with Born Communication in Wordsley.
