University of Illinois at Urbana alumnus Walt Hommerding is a financial services professional with over three decades of experience. He has previously worked for companies such as Lehman Brothers/Shearson Lehman Brothers, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, and Prudential Securities (now Wachovia Securities). Since 2002, Walt Hommerding has been serving at Newport Beach, California-based Wells Fargo & Company, now Wells Fargo Advisors. He is currently Managing Director-Investments.

As the Managing Director-Investments, Walt Hommerding is committed to helping institutional, nonprofit, and high net worth individual clients achieve their financial goals through a wide range of services, including corporate services, estate planning, retirement planning, insurance, and education funding. Mr. Hommerding leverages the breadth of resources provided by Wells Fargo, such as market experts and research analysts, in order to help his clients come to well-informed financial decisions.

Walt Hommerding is securities registered in 17 states. Additionally, Mr. Hommerding is insurance-licensed in his home state of California as well as 10 other states. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association.
