My intro to the concept of energy healing came at the age of 17, when I had the first of 2 Near-Death Experiences (NDE's) by way of blunt force head trauma in a car accident in 1981.

We are all quite familiar with the state of consciousness that we experience in our everyday waking state. There are, however, altered, far superior states of consciousness - states in which we are able to experience extraordinary peace and acceptance, unparalleled love, and a sense of "knowing" - exalted states in which we are able to effect our own healing.

I therefore took quite naturally to Reiki when it came into my life 27 years after my accident. It was validation of my seemingly subconscious knowledge that all healing - be it mental, emotional, spiritual, and/or physical - begins at the energetic levels. My ultimate goal in conducting a Reiki, Hypnosis, or EFT session is to induce the client to be able to access as high a state as possible in order that they may effect their own healing process.
