Personal Statement

My training as a product designer involved extensive work on a range of projects. This has allowed me to develop my presentation skills. I have experience working as part of a design team and I have developed skills in brand analysis and identifying target markets. I am a creative person and enjoy producing new concepts to provide the best answer to the clients brief.

I am a graduate Product Designer with experience in design including lighting design, graphic, sustainable emotional and with experience in Rhino, Pro engineer and Solidworks, as well as in the Adobe packages. I am used to working on both pc and mac's systems and I enjoy idea generation and communicate well with others. I have well developed visual presentation skills,with a high standard of sketching and model making abilities. I produced graphic work at university for exhibitions and displaying my own work, producing display material and using image manipulation programs. I also studied graphics as part of my ERASMUS placement in Romania and since graduating my work has been used for an international design conference, promotional materials and flyers for charities and pub promotions as well as commercial , as a visual effects artist. As a product designer I have experience in developing new concepts and have worked on sustainable, emotional and inclusive design, this allowed me the opportunity to work with a range of products. I have practical experience of studio management, as part of the resources team at Brighton University where my responsibilities ranged from keeping an organized studio to updating reference material and sourcing materials.

I am hard working and keen to gain further experience in the design and feel this would be a opportunity which would be beneficial for both improving my skills and knowledge base.
