About me

Hi,

I am Subhankar Dutta, a Designer and Film Maker, from Mumbai, India. In a career span of a little more than a decade, I have worked across TV, Advertising and Cinema, specializing in Design and Direction. I am trained in Animation Film Design and started out as a Character Animator working on 2D, 3D and the stop motion mediums. Eventually, moved into a premier VFX production house designing (Concept Art, Character Design, Story Boarding and VFX Art Direction) and directing for films and advertising.

In my last job, I worked as the Creative Head of a leading Music channel, under the Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks, in India. Here, my job encompassed programming strategy and planning, content sourcing including acquisitions, scheduling, commissioning and executive production of all productions including Ad Sales Solutions, & new channel launches with a view to growing and strengthening its leadership in music genre.
