About me
I am currently a Freelance Video Editor and I have just finished a contract working for Ericsson across their multiple clients. The duties range from full compliance edits to new media productions.
Before becoming a freelancer I worked for TVT, who deal with compliance and reversioning for BBC, UKTV, Netflix and BBCWW. Having to adhere to strict OFCOM and broadcasting regulations has given me a keen eye for technical detail along with the ability to stick to tight deadlines.
I previously worked as an Edit Assistant for Input Media who deal primarily with professional football games. We work closely with Sky, BT and BBC delivering programs for FA cup, England International, UEFA, Chelsea TV, Everton TV and Women's Super League matches.
I have also held the position of Lead Video Editor for a football academy making training videos for young children, as well as promotional videos for their website and corporate presentations. Here I was responsible for the start to finish process of the films, from raw footage being filmed, cut, edited, graphics added, colour correction and finally uploaded to our servers.
I have proven professional experience with Premier Pro, After Effects and Avid Media Composer, along with a good understanding of Final Cut Pro.
I am proficient in Online/offline media managing/editing, digitising, deck configuration, conforming, patching, encoding, laying off complete edits, frame matching and dealing with the various media formats.
