About me

Shuna Hammocks is a Consultant Trichologist who has been a hair and scalp specialist for 12 years.

The journey began in 1999 when Shuna left the Royal Navy, in order to follow a family passion of Trichology; in fact her Father is a Fellow of the Institute of Trichologists! The initial position and where Shuna gained all of her experience, was with the world renowned Philip Kingsley Clinic in mayfair, London.

More recently, Shuna trained and qualified as a phlebotomist, in order to carry out blood testing in the clinic and attends regular medical development seminars in London.

Shuna became aware that the South-East did not have a trichologist covering the region and felt the timing was right personally to open her own practice. She wanted to provide the same high standard of practice she carried out in London, therefore in September 2011, Sussex Trichology opened its doors.
