About

Robert Frith MA RCA

Robert is a design professional working for museums, public spaces, schools and hospital, in academic research, and for the Superblue design lab. Robert is continually exploring new ways for people to discover, and create new stories through the places, objects and experiences he designs. He has a passion to engage people with the creative process, wherever it appears. The visitors are always seen as partners and co-authors of any experience or work.

Robert works to uniquely tailor each project around its content, story and visitor. Through old and new technologies Robert creates interactive experiences and spaces.

Robert is currently a Senior 3D Designer at the British Museum. Previously working on museum projects in Amsterdam, Singapore, Barhrain, and in Nigeria, Robert has a strong knowledge of museum design across cultures . He regularly lectures at Universities across the UK and was research fellow for the The Arts University College Bournemouth, in 2008/09, Robert is also a founding Director of Superblue, an experimental design lab to test new ideas inspired by our communities in the public realm, advising the Prime Ministers Strategy Unit in 2008. Robert believes the lessons we learn in how we engage audiences with museums and their content can help us explore other areas of our lives. This has lead to projects in the education, health and workplace to improve how people engage with their spaces and places.
