About me

Shortly after earning his bachelor of science in marine engineering systems at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York, Raul De Saint Malo attended the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in Washington, DC. He ultimately graduated with his master of business administration in 2002. During his undergraduate and graduate academic career, Raul De Saint Malo completed internships with the Panama Canal Authority and the retail bank BNP Paribas.

As the managing director of Eagle Navigation & Trading, Mr. De Saint Malo owns and manages 12 industrial tankers to facilitate the overseas transport of liquid petroleum products. He remains up to date on the latest advancements in his chosen field by regularly attending events such as the New Orleans International Workboat Show Conference, the Oslo Posidonia International Shipping Conference, the Shipping Week Seatrade Conference, and the Marine Money International Conference, and over the years multiple maritime periodicals have asked him to comment on important industry topics.

Outside of his professional life, he enjoys a range of hobbies that includes traveling. Also a fitness enthusiast, he exercises through running and weightlifting.
