About me
Peter Richardson attended a Foundation Course at Hastings College of Art followed by a Degree Course at Brighton College of Art, studying illustration under the tutelage of John Vernon Lord. Upon graduation he commenced work on paperback covers and the BBC's educational division.
His work has appeared throughout the world for briefs as diverse as animation, graphic novels, posters, murals, magazines and websites.
His artwork has been shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Award, the World Illustration Awards, the AOI Best of British Illustration and the Creativepool 2015 Illustration Award.
His work has been exhibited in London, New York and Singapore.
He is editor of the internationally acclaimed illustration journal, 'illustrators' and has also designed and edited several books on the graphic arts.
