ABOUT

Pet Drugs Online have a great competitive offering and - despite their name - don’t just offer prescriptions and medication to their pet-owning customers.

We were tasked to make an A/V campaign that made pet owners aware of the Pet Drugs Online brand and enlightened them to the fact that they offer pet food.

But to do it, we needed to subvert a whole category of advertising. The market was saturated with traditional pet ads - smiling owners, obedient pets, and predictable routines. We saw an opportunity to challenge all of it.

Our concept? If everyone else were humanising animals, we’d petify the humans instead. By flipping the trope on its head, we showed people behaving like the hungry, inexplicably particular and impulsive animals we call pets.
