About me

Born to a Spanish father and a Swedish mother I grew up in Mallorca in a truly international and eclectic household, which has shaped my career. Wanting to spread my wings I moved to London to study Graphic Design but transitioned to fashion design as I realised that I was much more intrigued by the tangible tactility of clothes.

My first job at Levi's taught me about the world of casual wear and denim and has enabled me to focus my entire professional career on this. In the past 11 years I have mostly been involved in design and development across several categories. Within that time I also gained comprehensive understanding of woven's and denim (with a focus of wet and dry processing of finishes, dying, fabrics and fitting). That has given me a greater understanding of the possibilities in design and development of a collection and provided me with a very specialised knowledge. I'm committed to casual wear as a designer with a focus on commercial menswear, bringing excitement to the product through an insatiable passion for attention to detail and quality.

My background is mostly in fulltime employment for medium to large companies. After 10 years in the industry I felt I should explore my options and work as a consultant and freelance designer for a change. After spending the last year being self employed I found that working for a large organisation comes with greater challenges and rewards and therefore is a more exciting experience in my opinion.
