About me

Welcome, I've been shooting and retouching professionally for 6 years now and have decided it's time to focus my passion for imaging on the commercial sector. Since discovering my love of photography at university I have worked in photography related fields to fund the purchase of professional cameras and lighting kit. My wide experience base has given me the skills and judgement to balance sympathetic retouching of the image without losing sight of the client's brief and deadline. My physics and art background has given me a good eye for colour accuracy and attention to detail. Most of my work is now fashion based, so my retouching skills are principally aimed at beauty retouching, blemish removal, high pass sharpening, contrast adjustment in curves, colour correction, creative cropping and toning, masking and compositing. I've been using Photoshop CS4 but have now moved on to CS6 with it's improved selection tools and content aware fill.
