About me
Neil Hopkins has worked as a freelance for over 4 years in Finland & in the United Kingdom. Having worked with Nokia & Microsoft on various digital projects and concepts, Neil's experience extends from cutting edge technology to print design, children's illustration and poster campaigns. Since his early days in Art school in 1992, Neil has traveled extensively learning about history & culture. This led him into the academic study of the History and Theory of Art & Visual Culture at the University of Gloucestershire. The understanding of cultural heritage has culminated in a number of exhibitions created by Neil, including the celebration of the silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and Finland's annual Astronomy society's public exhibition in Turku, 2011.As a designer, Neil has worked on many concepts for major companies such as Nokia, for example the redesign of the Nokia 5580 cell phone and the future concepts of automobile digital interaction.
