About me
I am a Graphic Designer at Gemini Print in Sussex. I have a lot of contact with clients from the initial stage taking the brief involving preliminary ideas working up to finished artwork once the client has approved the job to print.
I get a wide range of work which can include making up folders, boxes and various folding mailers & leaflets usually in the form of creating mock up dummies on the required paper stock for the customer to see.
I work on holiday brochures, product catalogues layout and formatting, stationery, mailers, leaflets, schools prospects and many other design and print jobs.
I am proficient in the Adobe suite and Microsoft office suite. I also use Enfocus pit stop with Acrobat Professional to edit PDFs.
On a daily basis I mainly use Indesign. Quark Xpress, Illustrator, Photoshop and Word.
Getting away from artwork I am also proficient in web to print, an online print ordering process.
Two years ago I went on a course in web to print at a company called Vpress in Cheltenham.
Some of our clients use it on a regular basis now which allows them to input their own details (eg: business cards) online and go to checkout to send us a print ready pdf.
