About me

I am the director of a Social Enterprise Community Interest Company called Creative Youth Opportunities, we deliver creative youth work and workshops to young people across East Durham with the aim of encouraging, supporting and promoting enterprising amongst the young people of East Durham.

I have worked with young people predominantly in the North East of England on issue based projects and research all with a 'rights' based theme. As part of this work we have developed some short films and are looking to progress with this. I have also delivered on large number of arts projects and large scale community events.

I myself have a background in photography and art and have been working with young people for over fourteen years using creative ways to explore life, culture and inequalities for young people, including young people with disabilities.
