I'm fascinated by all things digital, particularly the challenges and opportunities provided by open data, linked data, social media, and disruptive new technologies.

One of the organisers of BlueLightCamp, the unconference for emergency services and those who work with them. I was recently appointed to the executive committee of the British Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (B-APCO)

I'm leading the Hampshire Hub Local Information project for Hampshire which is 'open by default'. I joined the Open Data Communities project board in June 2013

As a hobby, I'm investigating the part social media can play in informing decision-making, and helping public services collaborate (with each other, businesses and the public).
