About me

Hi there. My name is Marjan and Marjillu is my illustration brand. I studied and graduated in Graphic Design and it's funny how all those years I didn't have a clue about loving illustration.
Then when I was 23-24 I started struggling with depression. Going through that made me realize that I can't talk about my feelings, so I started to illustrate them.
That was a pivotal point in my life. I just found my true passion and I wouldn't let go of it for anything! I began a journey of self-learning and tried to grasp as much as I can about illustration and all that comes with it such as different styles and techniques. I became a more confident and more vocal version of myself and that improvement found its way through my work.
That's why I consider myself an "Emotion Illustrator". Lots of my works are titled after humane feelings like "Boredom" or "Missing". So when I feel something heavy on my heart, I just grab a pencil and start drawing till I feel free on the paper. Sharing these works with my followers has proved to be rewarding because most of the times, they also identify and acknowledge their feelings through my work and the love and sympathy that they express is sincerely so wholesome that I'm forever grateful to them.
I aim to increase this great community and I hope you can also be a part of it as well. ;)
