About me

"A human dependence on nature that extends far beyond the simple issues of material and physical sustenance to encompass as well the human craving for aesthetic, intellectual, cognitive, and even spiritual meaning and satisfaction" (Kellert and Wilson, 1993)

The phenomenon of biophillia runs heavily through my work. I have a deep fascination to the environment particularly the micro ones that are so unique. Packed with my dedicated macro lens, small microscope and sketchbook I love to delve into the woods and see what I find. I have lived in England since 2005, the woods are lush and green but Autumn is particularly interesting with its fiery colours and an abundance of seed pods to collect. Specimens are collected and fill my walls which bring me great joy to view every morning.

My jewellery is all hand fabricated and involves a lot of experimentation. Ill work in wax and cast in precious metals, as a registered fairtrade jeweller I support all recycled silver and fairtrade gold.
