An experienced nurse and healthcare administrator in Madison, Wisconsin, Julie Van Puffelen most recently served 13 years as a manager with the project management division of Epic, a healthcare industry software developer with international headquarters in the Madison suburb of Verona. Her responsibilities with Epic centered on the oversight of inpatient clinical documentation and clinical case management for 17 clients, including multi-facility healthcare organizations operating approximately 115 hospitals across the United States. While employed by Epic as a project manager, Julie Van Puffelen concurrently served five years an executive nurse liaison and two years as a clinical readiness owner.

Ms. Van Puffelen's work with Epic builds upon five years as a staff nurse and nursing assistant with Madison's UnityPoint Health-Meriter and St. Mary's Hospital. She holds a bachelor of science in nursing from Edgewood College and is currently pursuing a master's certificate in project management from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
