ABOUT ME

I am a graphic designer/Illustrator with over 4 years commercial experience. I am highly skilled in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and well versed in Acrobat. I also have some experience in Dreamweaver, Cinema 4D, After Effects and other software.

My employment history covers creative publishing sectors and newspapers. During my career I have designed brochures, various forms of packaging, numerous magazines, logos and websites. I currently work for a daily newspaper called The Sun, where I design information graphics for the paper and all printed materials. During my time in this role my responsibilities have grown and sometimes this involves overseeing print production and making sure deadlines are met. Within this role I am responsible for coming up with original concepts and designs, as well as sticking to a strict style sheet and working to tight deadlines, with an adaptable approach.

I have a very positive, can do attitude, with a meticulous eye for detail. Also I have good communication skills and I enjoy making good working relationships. I always welcomed responsibility and have dealt with pressure successfully. I am good at working within a team. Yet also, I am a good self-starter and can work alone easily with a proactive attitude.

Proficient with PC- and Mac-based platforms and Adobe CS6 packages, including Photoshop, After Effects,, Illustrator, InDesign, Sony Vegas. Also Cinema 4D and Motion.
