About me
I am a Business Leader, Entrepreneur and currently a Director of Leggatt and Brown. My career spans 21 years of experience in Consumer and Retail Brands, focusing on the physical environment. My key area of strength is in-store environments and merchandising systems that sell product. I have worked and traveled extensively throughout Southern Africa, Middle East as well as the UK and Ireland and have recently completed projects in the USA, China and East Africa.
My field of expertise includes Concept Design and Design Detailing on large and small scale projects. I have extensive experience in developing brand-focused retail spaces and rollouts programs for successful and premier International brands.
I have consulted with brands within the retail environment to improve sales as well as developing strategy/ concepts for the retailers themselves. I believe that understanding retail from both a brand and retailer's perspective, coupled with an understanding of the consumer, benefits all parties. I am highly adaptable across many different retail categories, including apparel, grocery, liquor, DIY, tech, homeware and banking.
I am able to manage a team and converse on all levels both internally and externally. I aim to always set the highest personal standards, in order to surpass expectations. I maintain and build strong relationships with my customers and suppliers and work well with different personalities.
