About me

I have always wanted to pursue my career in interior design, which is underpinned by my BA in Architecture. At present, after having spent two years in design and fashion industry, I believe I have necessary skills and experience to undertake the next stage of my long-term interest in the interior design.

While completing my architectural degree, I acquired a sound knowledge of the design principles, which allowed me to discover my own style while working on various extracurricular projects. I have also gained a substantial experience in product design, exhibition and installation projects considering factors such as, the space available for the display, colour scheme and materials. By translating my ideas into sketches, drawings, models and by using photography I developed a specific eye for attention to detail.

In addition to my academic achievements, my experience as a Deputy Manager at Jigsaw has prepared me to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment, where prompt decision making and problem solving is required. Fashion environment gave me an insight to the latest trends and taught me the importance of in-depth product knowledge and understanding quality and luxurious fabrics, as well as design principles and ideas behind styles and patterns. Experience in fashion retail taught me the importance of treating all projects as your own with maximum devotion, commitment and motivation. The business knowledge and fashion experience became an advantage during establishing AB Style Coaching partnership.

My dream is to be part of a diverse practice in order to unite my knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of all possible aspects of the interior design.

Sector Experience

Villablino Project, Spain, Student Exchange Program, Live project involved working closely with local community and councillors in order to arrive with a series of architectural proposals for entertainment purposes in a suicide and depression ridden region. The project engaged local media such as radio and newspaper to publicise the problem and present ideas, while getting across a wide range of people in the village. Collaboration with students from University Politehnica of Madrid resulted in a range of proposals, which utilized buildings left by the rapid decline in coal mining industry. The proposals not only attempted to establish new employment opportunities, but also drew attention to the area’s rich natural environment.
