About me
As an illustrator that tends to focus mostly on the natural world, my art tends to combine scientific research, intense observation, and a creative mixture of styles and techniques. My artwork is produced mainly in black and white using pencil or pen and ink but I do incorporate color as well, using color pencils, watercolors, or digital medium to color my illustrations. I have worked for various government and private organizations such as the Nature Conservancy in the US and Ocean Tree, based out of New Smyrna in Florida in efforts to catalog plants and animals as well as to educate local populations on those plants an animals. I am also a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators (GNSI) and have had work recently featured in the 2020 GNSI Annual Members Exhibition.
