About me
Hyrul Anuar was born in Sabak Bernam, Selangor in 1988. In 2011, he finished studying BA Film & Video at the Aswara (Akademi Seni Budaya & Warisan Kebangsaan). After that, he worked for a year with a production house called Cube Film & Box Lite Film as a Scriptwriter, Editor and Motion Designer.
In 2012, he joined Leo Burnett in Kuala Lumpur, and worked there as a Graphic Designer for two years. In 2013, Hyrul represented Malaysia at the Adfest Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, and won both the Young Lotus Competition Prizes for his The Real Daydream Nation project.
He was invited to join Fabrica (United Colors of Benetton's Communication Research Center) in mid-2014 and currently he's working with Leo Burnett Kuala Lumpur as a Senior Digital Art Director.
