About me
Starting my career within a UK fully fashioned Knitwear manufacturer I progressed from office junior to commercial sales manager in a short space of time. Initially working with UK retailers, brands and independents such as Aquascutum, Burberry, Pringle, Fenwicks, Bentalls and Paul Smith to Arcadia, House of Fraser, Debenhams and Next. I then moved over to export with responsibility for Northern Europe and dealt with customers such as Galleries Lafayette, Monoprix, Damart, NK Damm, Illums, Magasin Du Nord and C&A.
Throughout my career I have always enjoyed the more technical aspects, getting to understand the production process from start to finish. This I found to be an excellent preface when dealing with my clients as I understood the best and most cost effective uses for yarns and fabrics plus the most efficient way to produce the garment to hit key price points. I have always worked side by side with the senior designers and have a keen creative and commercial eye for detail.
