Bio

Mavis Chan is a Hong Kong native. She practices different genres of Chinese painting and western painting. She learnt painting and drawing through the "master-student" study mode at Mr Cheng Tin Hok's studio. And, it was where she started her endless journey of exploration of new format of Chinese painting by implying the traditional painting technique into the rather "fresh" and "contemporary" topics.

She hopes people could see Chinese painting is not only restricted in landscape, flower & bird or portrait, or even not restricted in any medium. With the mixture of different cultures and synchronizing the contemporary technology, a new presentation of Chinese painting you may see. Not traditional nor modern. It is just anything the audiences may perceive - a world without boundary.
