About me

I would like to apply for a placement position in your organisation. If my application should prove successful I would be free to start immediately and be at your disposal until September of next year when I am due to return to Brunel University for the third year of my Digital Design course.

I would very much like the opportunity to work for your company and believe that I have the ability and can give the commitment that you seek. Digital design has been my passion ever since I made the switch to IT at college. It proved to be the best decision I ever made.

During my two years in Brunel I have acquired skills in the following: Adobe suite. including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign and more, 3D Maya 2016 and other modelling software like Blender, photography and filming in a greenscreen room using studio cameras. I also have some knowledge of animation which can be seen on my showreel, including jumping, walking, bouncing ball etc and have experience of web development and the ability to code in HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JavaScript, PHP and MySql. I'm also very keen on UX Design.

I've worked with DSLRs in various shooting booths and set up three-point lightings with various gel filters. Using cameras and lights enabled me to understand the use of camera temperature, FOV, ISO, shutter speed, and what is acceptable for audio recognition. I've also gained experience working within a green screen room to produce animation and have a good understanding of 3D modelling in Maya 2016 and Blender.

I'm proud of my portfolio site for which I received an 'A' first-degree standard from Brunel for photography and site development skills (coding). The site has over 1000 lines of unique code. It has excellent responsiveness as it can be viewed on tablet and mobile designs. I am also proud of the anthropomorphic model that I produced in 3D, for which I received a first class mark.
