About me
Ellie has a degree in Classical Civilisation from Leeds University. It was at this time, whilst interning with Kitcatt Nohr's New Business team, that Ellie chose the path of advertising.
After graduating with a 2:1, and doing another New Business Internship at Havas Helia, Ellie started her career at DigitasLBi as New Business Coordinator, one of the UK's largest new business agencies, serving the digital marketing industry. Working across various pitches including Mr Porter, Nissan, Kellogg, Three, Travis Perkins, Samsung, BT and many more. Ellie also worked with other departments, including marketing, media, PR and Events and Ellie gained valuable knowledge of the industry on both a local and international scale. As well as continually exceeding monthly team targets successfully brought in over £1million worth of revenue for Kellogg.
As New Business Coordinator she was responsible for assisting the Head of New Business in driving growth and supporting in new business opportunities from RFI through to pitch. She built the company's social media following and introduced and managed the agency quarterly newsletter which was sent to prospects, intermediaries, journalists and key network contacts encouraging new and organic business opportunities. After 6 months Ellie's role expanded, she was also given responsibility for managing the new business process, from RFI to pitch, for a number of incoming opportunities.
On a day to day basis she produces and updates agency collateral including case studies, credentials and show reels. Recently she supported the redesign and launch of the new agency website with the look and feel translated into presentation templates, which are now being rolled out throughout the company. Ellie also works with the PR team writing creative awards submissions, leading to a number of wins, sourcing information for PR releases and engaging with senior management regarding thought pieces and events to increase agency exposure. This all involves key project management skills including managing resources, hitting deadlines and working across various agency departments including creative, design and planning.
Ellie left DigitasLBi in December 2016 to pursue a role with more career progression at Oxford Knight, a technology recruitment company. After quickly realising this industry was not for her, she left in pursuit of new challenges.
In her spare time enjoys pAinting, designing, cooking, reading, going to the theatre and exploring london
